MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations at the hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure that all hotel facilities, equipment, and systems are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations across the property.
  • Conduct routine inspections of rooms, public areas, and equipment.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
  • Oversee the performance of maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, inventory, and costs.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to.
  • Plan and implement energy-saving initiatives.
  • Assist with renovation or upgrade projects as required.
  • Report directly to the General Manager and collaborate with other department heads.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Proven knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies efficiently.
  • Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate (preferred).
  • Knowledge of OHS and building compliance regulations.
